I think they help reduce hair on that part of the leg... like buisness socks do on man legs.... but these allow for breathing of the feet.... genius. All I know is you better order ASAP, only 3 left.

Those are typically used for someone who has diabetes or circulations issues. My husband had a blood clot in his leg and he now has to wear compression hoes whenever he travels. It sucks but it keeps him alive.

The socks are for circulation. I work in a hospital on the Ortho floor and every post-op patient is given a pair of socks/hose. It reduces blood clots. We have had patients die on our floor, after a simple surgery, all b/c of a blood clot! Scary stuff!
