3 months til 5
Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 12:14AM I should be posting images of our little Isabelle since she's turning 3 next week- but Izzy wasn't feeling very photogenic today. That is- besides this picture.
This was taken during one of our family's now frequent dart gun wars. This all came about because I got Isaac a dart gun, then stole it from him because I thought it was fun- a week or so later I bought three more so we could all have one. Plus about 5,000 darts because MAN those suckers get lost easily!
So, the house may be messy and work is undone, but at least we're getting our shooting practice in. It's a crack up to hear/see little Izzybelle pop out of a hiding spot, bolt around the corner, and yell "I'm gonna SHOOT you daddy!"
Good times.
As mentioned in the post title, Isaac will soon be a 5 year old, and this thought blows my mind, so I prefer not to think about it. Instead I prefer to gaze upon these unbelievable images Tyler took of 4.75 year old Isaac.
I'm loving Tyler's signature Big Forehead shots. These are definitely going BIG on my walls.

These are awesome... that Isaac is a cutie! He's a natural born actor/model. My favorite is that close up with his bright blue eyes and that little smile in the corner of his lip. He looks so grown up in that one. Bravo Tyler I'm lovin' your work man!

So Cute! That tongue one is the best! I am impressed with Mr. Blue Lily! As soon as you can teach your kids not to drop a super expensive camera, you guys are going to become a traveling photography family, I know it.

Storytime:
Stuart has a friend who modifies Nerf guns. He takes all the safety parts out so they fire at amazing forces - they leave bruises. He'd come to visit and bring all his guns. They'd round up a group of 10 guys, 20-30 years old and they'd go out and have a nerf war. To save money they make the darts themselves by using orange foam tubing and ball bearings. To straighten the orange foamy tubes they'd put them in my tumble drier. For months afterwards I'd be pulling orange 'cheetos' out my knickers.
