Introducing Mr. Blue Lily (GIVEAWAY!)
Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 01:04AM You better believe I have been celebrating our 2nd year birthday/anniversary here at Blue Lily. One thing I recently did was hire my first employee.
His name is Tyler. Tyler Whitacre. As in, my husband. As in: Mr. Blue Lily.
Tyler is a lot of things. He is a genius, he is sincere, is is the best dad. He also happens to be a phenomenal photographer.
Up til this year, he's been shy as all get out. Happy to let me do most of picture taking, let me go crazy with Blue Lily, do whatever I want. This year though, he's got other plans.
He is my Mr. Blue Lily; and he is so good, I might be quickly out of a job.
Probably not, though, as things are so busy around here, I definitely needed help, especially needed a second photographer around and most definitely another editor. Tyler is both of those things and is crazy amounts of artistic. Most of the time he's to busy either waxing philosophical or rolling around on the floor teasing the kids for people to notice.
But- he's got the photography itch and he's got it BAD.
So- here's where the giveaway comes in.
We are giving TWO WINNERS either a free mini session (at any location we're visiting, so anyone can win) or a whopping $150 gift card to any store we can buy a gift card online.
Supah sweet!
All YOU have to do to enter the giveaway is comment and tell Tyler just how awesome he is. Like that's hard.
To get a second entry in the giveaway, add Blue Lily as a friend on Facebook. Click here to do that!
To get a third entry in the giveaway, give our blog a link on your site or blog. And then email us to tell us where we can find it.
So easy.
Just do it.
Yes, yes, we will be accurately tallying up how many entries everyone gets. It will be time consuming but WORTH IT!
Here's where this post gets really long. These freaking incredible images below were all taken by Tyler AND edited by Tyler AND I didn't have a single thing to do with a single one.
Bummer for me, but YAY for Tyler!
So, get going to the comments. Let Mr. Blue Lily know how much you love him. (but like, don't hit on him, cuz he's MINE!)

P.S. If I put your link on my other blogs to I get even MORE entries?
... alloway. Those are some mad skills! worthy of a link for sure
Tyler,
These are incredible. I like the variety of angles, the oddly lovely look of a couch in the middle of nowhere nature, the vastness that somehow does not over power the love of these two people, and the hilarity of the umbrella flying away. You evoke such a range of emotions with the photographs.
I have added Blue Lily as a friend on Facebook and will link to you on my Blog after posting this comment.
Looking forward to seeing more from you two, the dynamic duo :-)
oops... forgot the link... http://littlemeadows.blogspot.com
Wow, what a team! I LOVE the cloud picture- I can't stop staring at it.
LOVE the pictures - especially the angle of the one of them "walking the line" on the highway! Excellent!!! I can't wait to see more!!!
Um, wow. You guys are such a dynamic duo. Awesome - and RAD. I just love that you both put fantastic furniture out in the most gorgeous places. Yum! Can't wait to see more from your photographic partnership.
Beautiful photographs. I love the one of her feet/dress next to her groom. But, favoring a touch of whimsy, the photograph where the bride is hiking up her dress and the groom has lost his umbrella --- that's the one I would pick to purchase. For sheer beauty, the photograph where the bride and groom are in the foreground and the pink/mauve clouds dominate the background? Priceless.
I've added a link to your blog (awhile ago) as one I check daily. Hope that still gets me two entries. The Litterbox
