All you need to do to enter is tell me what you think of these pictures of the world's most-loved blogger Courtney (CJANE). People, she is very sassy and sweet and every time I meet her we have so much fun. She truly is zany and delicious (she loves that word). (Comments will be accepted until Friday the 21st at midnight, and I'll let you know who won soon after.)
The idea behind this shoot was to show what goes on behind the blog- her daily life, crazy and raw as it is. I was finally able to meet her husband (very tall, very strong looking, didn't see that coming) and reunite with little Chief, who, during our last meeting, completely fell in love with me.
Can you blame him?
This time: not so much a fan of me. Never cracked one smile.
I'll get him next time.
My favorite? The Chief lackadaisically eating crackers off the carpeted kitchen floor.

I love Courtney. I wish she was my neighbor and new best friend. I think she is the most awesome person...maybe even in the world. Oh yeah...the pictures are great too! I love the one of Chief in the striped hat on the car.
I have fallen in love with people and their lives through the lens of the only person I know who can capture REAL life. You find the perfect shot and make it beautiful no matter how random the situation is. My favorite is Chup folding laundry on the bed while cjane smiles up at him! I can only imagine that the sound of the retro house is privvy to that of your ears after a really loud concert, humming with white noise and reverberating with the wonderful sounds now just tucked away in ones memory. God Bless you and your wonderful gift! Keep 'em comin'. I only wished you lived closer to us!

My favourite picture is the one of CJane/Hubby holding hands behind babe in highchair and the carnage of toys in front of them. The picture really demonstrates the feeling of unoccupied space, but seeing the 3 of them together in the back shows nothing but full hearts and a beautiful family that is strong together.
I think CJane is truly an angel. I was thinking how hard it must feel to go thru the struggles of infertility to finally have a gorgeous babe, then have a large temporary live in family embark on them too. I remember how lonely it sometimes felt at first being a stay at home mom and despite letting my babe nap in my arms because she was far too cute to not stare at for 2 hours- wishing sometimes for a 2nd part to my conversation and I wonder if Courtenay is feeling that now...

I think I want you to come to my house. Except my house - and my wardrobe, for that matter - do not have as much personality as Courtney does in one finger (probably the one with the awesome flower ring). Maybe we could come see you in DC, though....
I am 100% in love with the picture of the Chief on the Monaco! My other fav is of the family in the kitchen with a potato and green beans on the Chief's high chair. These pictures are beautiful and I absolutely love how you've shown their real everyday life.
Plus, Courtney is GORGEOUS!

I've met Courtney before. She is kind and loving. She took Stephanie's children without hesitation. She loved them as she loves her own little Chief. The world would be a better place if everyone was as kind and loving as Courtney. I wish my family was like that.
Your pictures are awesome (duh, of course they are.) I love all of them. I like the ones with deeper colors better than the black and white but that's just me. They are all great though. I love the ones of The Chief laying on the carpet floor. Isn't he darling?!

I love Courtney & I love the pics. Since I have had children, my favorite pictures are the plain, raw, everyday life ones. Just like what you captured. Fabulous job. Fabulous subjects!!!! :)
These pictures are absolutely delectable! The colors and angles are unique, gorgeous, and utterly amazing! They are sadness and joy. What I love most about them, however, is how they capture the bittersweet return to everyday life of this wonderfully giving family. Those children will always be running around that house, in one way or another, but now Cjane can concentrate on her own SPICE. It is a well-deserved moment of respite, before Mr. Chief turns two and rocks their world in a whole new way.
What do I think? I think I wished you lived next door to me and you could just snap away all day and we could be great friends because I'm just 31 and I still act like a kid too. The pictures are fantabulous and real. I love getting a glimpse into the real life of cJane...not just the one she wants to share with us. I love her kitchen and the messy toys and the new angles you shared with us. I know I purposely don't photograph certain parts of my home because I don't think they are blog worthy, but you gave us a new look into some fun places cJane hasn't shared with me before. I love her blog and her free spirit and the woman she is. Your pictures are always amazing and beautiful...in all their forms. Thank you for beautifying this world one snap at a time.
I love these! I think my favorite is of the three of them in the almost empty living room. The strewn toys littered on the floor make this picture absolute perfection! (next to the subjects of course!!)

More cute pictures for my viewing pleasure and a giveaway! HOT DOG! I love your work. It is very realistic and captures exactly what atmosphere you are striving for. I really love the ones of the Chief on the floor in the kitchen, as well as the one with him sitting on the car! Very good! I am imagining that you set up the shots, so I commend you for your style and technique! They are very fun to look at!
